Inside International Singing Camp 2026: Five Days of Voice, Live Music and Community in Italy.

Five days of vocal education, live music and international connection in Italy. From 13 to 17 July 2026, singers representing around 15 different flags came together in Puglia, Italy. Participants joined us from Belgium, France, Norway, Germany, Colorado, Tennessee, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Malta, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Bulgaria, Spain, Cyprus and Italy.

International Singing Camp 2026 offered high-level vocal education, private lessons, workshops, live performances and unforgettable moments of celebration. But from my perspective, the story of this edition began many months before the first participant arrived.

Before the Camp: months of preparation and trust

Organising an international singing camp requires much more than creating a programme and choosing a group of teachers.

It begins with trust. Our participants travel from different countries, invest their time and money and choose to believe in an experience they have not yet lived. Before they book a flight or pack their suitcase, they need to feel that they will be welcomed, supported and cared for. Building that trust is one of the most important parts of preparing International Singing Camp.

For months, we worked to create an environment where every participant, regardless of experience or vocal level, could feel safe enough to learn, experiment and share. That meant carefully planning the workshops and private vocal lessons, but also considering every practical aspect of the experience: shared and private accommodation, meals, rooms, airport transfers, schedules and all the small details that can make someone feel at home in an unfamiliar place.

Each decision was part of a much bigger purpose: creating a space where people could focus on their voices without worrying about everything around them.

When International Singing Camp 2026 became real

For months, the Camp had existed through emails, registration forms, spreadsheets, schedules and plans. Then the welcome kits were prepared. The backpacks contained a tambourine, a water bottle, a notebook and a pen, all carrying the International Singing Camp logo. Seeing those backpacks lined up between the two welcome stands was incredibly emotional. For the first time, everything we had been preparing became visible.

But the Camp became truly real when the first transfer arrived. The first participants walked into the venue, received their badges and discovered the welcome kits waiting for them. Then came the first hugs.

Until that moment, I had known many of those people only as names on registration forms and words written in emails. Suddenly, those names had faces. The words had voices. The people behind every message were finally standing in front of me.

I remember thinking:

It is happening. It is really happening.

Different voices, the same dedication

What always moves me most about our participants is their dedication. Some are experienced singers, while others are still at the beginning of their vocal journey. Their starting points may be completely different, but they share the courage to invest in themselves and the desire to grow.

They travel long distances, enter a new environment and meet people they have never seen before. Many arrive feeling excited, but perhaps also uncertain about what to expect.

Some participants initially decided that they would not sing during the jam session.

Then, surrounded by a supportive group and professional musicians, they changed their minds. Watching them step onto the stage and perform with a confidence they may not have known they possessed was one of the most meaningful moments of the Camp.

We also welcomed returning campers who were taking part for the second time. Seeing them feel completely at home, and witnessing how much they had grown artistically and vocally since the previous edition, was an extraordinary experience.

A safe environment where connections can grow

International Singing Camp is intentionally limited to a small number of participants.

It is not designed to be a large, impersonal event where people disappear into the crowd. Its intimate size allows us to create a safer and more personal experience where every voice can be heard.

Participants have time to meet one another, interact with the teachers, ask questions and gradually feel comfortable enough to be vulnerable.

This is why connections can develop so quickly.

Vocal education that creates real change

During the private vocal lessons, participants had the opportunity to experience what an effective and appropriate vocal technique can do.

In some cases, the change was immediate.

Singers could hear and feel new possibilities in their voices during the lesson itself. Some left the room deeply moved by what they had discovered. That same spirit of discovery continued throughout the workshops. Participants were encouraged to ask questions, interact with the teachers and experiment without being afraid of making mistakes or feeling judged.

Because the group was intentionally small, our teaching team and professional musicians could dedicate genuine care and individual attention to every participant. Vocal growth is a personal process. Each singer brings a different instrument, history, goal and challenge. Creating space for that individuality is a fundamental part of the International Singing Camp experience.

Experienced teachers and real live music

One of the qualities that distinguishes International Singing Camp is the level of its educators.

Our teachers are not only accomplished artists. They are internationally experienced vocal educators who have spent years studying both their craft and the process of teaching it effectively.

Participants are therefore guided by professionals who understand how to communicate, listen and adapt their approach to the person in front of them.

The same attention to quality applies to the music. At International Singing Camp, singers have the opportunity to perform with a real live band rather than relying only on recorded backing tracks.

Working with live musicians requires listening, communication and presence. It creates an energy and a type of artistic connection that cannot be replicated by a recording. Our musicians were able to support singers at different levels, giving each participant the chance to experience the excitement of making real music together.

High-level education, private attention, live performance, international exchange and moments of genuine fun are not separate parts of the Camp. Together, they create the complete experience.

When the workshops end: night activities and shared experiences

Education is at the heart of International Singing Camp, but the experience does not end when the workshops and private lessons are over.

The night activities give participants another opportunity to connect, express themselves and enjoy music together outside the classroom.

During the jam sessions, singers can step onto the stage and perform with a professional live band. Some arrive feeling confident, while others initially believe they are not ready to perform. Yet, surrounded by supportive teachers, musicians and fellow campers, many find the courage to change their minds and sing.

And when the final performance ends, the evening continues. After the jam sessions, the stage gives way to the dance party. Campers, teachers and musicians dance together, laugh and simply enjoy the moment. Different ages, nationalities and levels of experience no longer matter: for a few hours, there is only music and pure joy.

The candlelight party offers a different atmosphere, warmer, more intimate and reflective, but with the same feeling of connection that runs throughout the entire Camp. These moments are not simply entertainment added to the educational programme. They are an essential part of the International Singing Camp experience: the moments when participants relax, friendships grow and a group of singers from different parts of the world truly becomes a community.

Five days inside a protective bubble

After International Singing Camp 2026 ended, participants began sharing photographs, videos and reflections on social media.

Their words expressed happiness, gratitude and almost a sense of disbelief. Several described the experience as though they had spent five days inside a safe and protective bubble, far from the pressures and routines of everyday life.

Inside that bubble, they had permission to focus on their voices, take risks, make mistakes, sing, learn and connect with people who understood their passion.

The Camp may last only five days, but what happens during those five days does not end at check-out. It continues through new vocal awareness, greater confidence, friendships, memories and the decision to keep growing after returning home.

Looking towards International Singing Camp 2027

While we are still carrying the emotions of the 2026 edition with us, we are already preparing the next International Singing Camp.

We are listening to the participants, studying every detail and looking for new ways to make the experience even more meaningful, inspiring and unforgettable.
